The fact that scientists aren't MORE involved in policy is a huge issue. We have folks with backgrounds in economics, law, public policy, etc. trying to judge the merits of policy choices from lots of good/neutral/bad actors

Argument to technocracy should probably be added to the list of logical fallacies. By his measure, we should probably abolish voting too because how can unqualified plebs be expected to judge between complex policy alternatives?
