This is a time to mourn, a time for grief. But more importantly, it’s a time for courage & imagination & justice. It's make-or-break time for the only planet we have. These next 12 years will be transcendent—simply because they must be. We were born just in time to be radicals.

I’m incredulous is the 10k year rise to human civilization claim, there’s lots of evidence for highly organized cultures before that. Not critique of the science tho.
Yea. Organized cultures that colllapsed. Often due to shifts in climate.
It appears that the global climate wise shifting down words until Industrial Revolution God in the way. It’s an increase I’m sure has nothing to do with human intervention industry pollution and greenhouse gases Just coincidence

An explosion isn't a great analogy. Think of it like a dam that's started to leak. We still have time to plug the leak, but if it grows much more there won't be a way to plug it anymore.
Our economic system seems to be the driver of most things damaging, including rewarding human tendency for greed.
