I understand Biden's desire to move on from Trump, not to have his own presidency defined by pursuit of a former president. But are we then to have no line that cannot be crossed? This cannot be. If the line is not drawn here, then where?

Biden has only said that *he* will not pursue legal avenues. That doesn’t mean his independent DOJ will not.

Georgia could technically start today. They are not bound by DOJ’s OLC memo stating that a sitting president can’t be indicted. But practically... it does take some runway to build a case.
