Telling their boss that they won’t work on an assigned project unless they are given [insert some high level responsibility they’re not ready for here].

Specifically applicable to law - a jr or mid level male attorney telling boss they don’t like dealing with “facts” & “details,” saying they’ll only work on a case if they get to write the briefs (w/o knowing any of the facts & details, which are essential to writing briefs).

Let me introduce you to my junior male attorney colleague who thinks he’s god’s gift to the legal profession, who is not a skilled writer but thinks he is, and says he “doesn’t like dealing with facts.”

Thank you. I won’t bore people with details but the bottom line is my current employer is the worst “good ol boys club” I’ve experienced and it’s super frustrating. (And I’ve worked at multiple brutal big law firms. More prestigious & successful yet none were this bad!)
