TY. I’m still waiting for my ballot. Was mailed on 9/28. Mom got hers on Saturday, she lives in same subdivision. Mine is stuck somewhere. To follow, you have to declare who has permission to turn it in for you, if not using usps or an ”official” drop location?
Yes on the back of the ballot you can designate who can drop it off for you if you follow the instructions on the back in CA

Right. And at the point where someone does as the local GOP headquarters has instructed, they have no idea who will be handling their ballot before (if) it's dropped at elections office.
