Honest question. Why are there lines just to drop an envelope in a box? Assume it's vote by mail where you just walk or drive up and put thru slot. Why is there a wait? BTW, in Washington. All vote by mail. Never waited to frop

I hand delivered mine to a drop location - drove right up... took all of 30 seconds Was good stuff

In Cleveland, Ohio... Ballots can only be dropped at the election office. Took me 10 minutes because I missed the entrance to the drive through and had to go around *eight blocks*. (...I know!) Those without a car, of course, don't have it that easy.

I think there are drop off boxes that are picked up daily in city hall buidingsfor any cities. Safer to drop them off there.
