Yesterday we lost 3 COVID patients and a nurse from a different team. I had a melt down. I went to see my doctor. Sobbing. I poured my heart out. My frustration, reusing PPE. Staffing shortages. Trump. His advice: “You need to stop caring so much. It’s not healthy”. I walked out!

As a mental health clinician, and one who focuses on grief and loss, I second this. There are so many ways therapy can help from getting support to learning ways to mitigate the primary/secondary trauma you are Going through. Thank you for your work.
