The only problem I see with a UCMJ type system is Law Enforcement will still police themselves. A Police Accountability Commission comprised of unbiased professionals to review and punish police misconduct would be more effective. But only if qualified immunity is abolished.
A similar system as the UCMJ but for police. And every police action that leads to the death of a civilian is investigated and prosecuted at a federal level by a federal agency specifically designed to handle it.https://twitter.com/davidmweissman/status/1308849713416990721 …
