Yeah, vote, just like they voted in Germany to stop Hitler. You should vote, but we need to be thinking about what happens if voting doesn't work, because it probably won't.
As both a student of history and psychology I always wondered how Germany let Hitler take over and murder over 11 million people.

Trump is simply a reflection of his base, a base full of racist and white supremist. He isn't really leading them; he's actively following them, and telling them what they want to hear, and would say if they were the ones with the microphone.

Hitler could never have done what he did if he didn't have a willing populace behind him. I suspect that is true for most authoritarians. Until they get so powerful they no longer need the populace anymore.
