Been a rough week of riding out this Lupus flare.
I have ups & downs.
I was supposed to be in DC on Thursday, meeting w/YOUR members of Congress to #ProtectOurCare
Instead, we were able to do them remotely. Some you've seen, MORE to come!

It certainly does!
For me the worst is the sun. If I am in the sun or any uv producing light for more than a couple of mins I'm severely drained of energy for hrs. The pain and other issues suck but essentially being allergic to the sun sucks more for me.

Sorry to hear that. Mom does not like the sun, I just read it could be beneficial (not for tanning).

For me it causes my cells to essentially commit suicide for some reason and it just drains me of energy

I'm so sorry, Eric. I understand. Here in NYC we have tall buildings that throw have shade. Sun sensitivity & noise sensitivity have been major issues for me as well. Sometimes people don't understand it's so severe I can't socialize or hold a conversation. Thank you for sharing.

We have wide open spaces here and its basically a desert so it sucks. I know what you mean it's hard to explain to people your limits when you "look" healthy. I hope you feel better and get through this flare fast.
