Approximately 40.6 million people live under the poverty line in the US....maybe the minimum wage should be raised for the 1st time this decade. The last time was in 2009

Just read an article covering the history of min wage in the US and that is not the case until about the 90s. Accounting for inflation and all that the min wages of the past have been higher than now in almost every decade except the last couple of ones

Minimum wage should be tied to Congressional and/or Senatorial raises. They vote themselves a raise and minimum wage is automatically raised the same amount and as often.
