I want to thank everyone on the left for the kind messages. The last 24 hours have been surreal. I haven’t been bullied like that since high school. But I’m still standing and more importantly I won’t stop fighting for the progressive policies that we need to heal our nation.
Always fight for what you believe in even if others disagree with how you do it. At the end of the day it's you and you alone that must live with what you do and don't do. Stay strong and fight on

I don’t see him as having changed positions so much as he’s realized that conservative Democrats will never pursue policies we desperately need. It’s one of those “when you finally see it you can’t unsee it” situations.
