So far, I've gotten about half a dozen invariably misspelled and ill-formatted emails from angry Trump folks regarding the USA Today op-ed. All I can say is this: I advocate for service members and their families, not Trump. It is what it is.
Let me guess they all sounded something like this....freedom, America, I'm a patriot, you are a traitor, I wave the flag harder than anyone else could wave a flag, and America again, and trump is z best ever.

What would be interesting to know is how many of these Trump supporters are past or present military personnel. I hope it's very few, and that these responses are limited to those "weekend warriors" who think smacking protesters around puts them on the same level as soldiers.
