C'mon. I'm all in support of raising min wage to living wage levels. But doing such slight of hand comparisons is garbage. Compare apples to apples. Either compare hourly to hourly or annual to annual. It will still be a stark comparison and it won't be dishonest.

I think minimum wage is too low but making a comparison of absolute numbers is meaningless. You need to look at the CAGR. Trust me - that number is bad enough for minimum wage. No need to play funny math to create clickbait for your tweets.
