At Mt. Vernon, the slave quarters were not part of the regular tour as of a few years ago. The plaque next to Washington’s dentures admit in small lettering that some of the teeth may be human.
Most of the founders of our country owned slaves. Yet not once in school was I ever taught that. I wonder why???? If we can't even hold those who came before us accountable for their actions we will never end racism in our country.pic.twitter.com/BJFwitTBqg

What are you doing to stop racial discrimination in housing, racial injustice in policing, and racial injustice in immigration now? It's all well and good to hold dead people accountable for their actions, but it does no good for those suffering from racism now. Be practical.
