Shitty house in Pittsburgh PA. My housemate smoked cigarettes constantly, practiced with his band on the first floor, and we were without heat for two months in the middle of winter because the landlord was pulling a scam and siphoning electricity from the building next door.

I remember how bad Ft. Polk was, but it was mainly the humid heat I couldn’t stand. Fort Dix was really bad too with WWII billets.
