I can think of at least two at the store I used to work at. Guess what the solution to the problem was? The store didn't enforce it. Hence the store I used to work at.

Right under the guise of not wanting workers to be bullied. But you are expected to enforce the return policy and get yelled at all day for that and respond only with kindness but don't take the return.

As someone who spent years in retail I can confirm. It's almost always someone who comes in already looking for a fight. They perceive service workers as people who can easily be bullied. Despicable

Because they know service workers are not allowed to answer back. It's like football fans screaming obscenities at the players because they know it is safe. My guess is they are unhappy with their lives and looking for the tiniest excuses to yell at somebody. Poor souls.
