I turned 50 this year and they have always used fear to push their agenda for as long as I can remember.
I've never followed politics as much as I do now. For those who have more experience did the gop always use fear to try and gain support or is it a new development?

They always have, and the democrats have used it on occasion but not as regularly (see the Daisy ad). Never this blatantly though. They know that they lose voters of they move to the left at all so the only way to find new voters is to get worse as quickly as possible.

Fear yes. Hatred of everyone and sowing division, no. And I’m 60. This is as bad as I’ve ever seen. The GOP is a disgrace along with their leader.

Right? Republicans used to shout American Exceptionalism from every podium. Now? You can’t find a Republican anywhere near a podium, unless they’re questioning a Democrat.
