Here I thought I was a bold millennial embracing socialism only to find out that Gen Z is embracing communism. The good news is the future is radical and anti-capitalistic so there is hope for this decaying nation after all.

What you described is democratic socialism and if labels weren’t important then capitalism wouldn’t be shoved down our throats since the moment we are born.
It's done to indoctrinate us to think it is the best and if it was the best we wouldn't have millions in poverty, millions without running water, and so much more that shouldn't exist in the country with the highest gdp.
