I use grounding techniques and use a massager to help distract me too

DO you have panic attacks, generalized anxiety or both? I have both...I'm 56 years old and have dealt with anxiety for my entire life.

Gad with some attacks. I had it under control and was doing better than the pandemic and everything else.

My 18 year old daughter is really struggling, her anxiety is turning into OCD...it's hard to watch.

If she hasn't tried therapy it may be a benefit to her. If she has and it didn't work maybe it wasn't a good fit and she should try somewhere else if possible.

I agree, she needs therapy, the problem is...I'd have to find someone who could do it, perhaps over zoom...plus I'm currently on leave without pay because of Covid. I work with adults with disabilities in the "community" at their job sites....they are not working so...I don't.

Depending on her situation she can try to apply for Medicaid and I know several places do telehealth for therapy.

I have private insurance, and it covers a wee bit of therapy...still expensive. It's hard to see her suffer. She went through a bout of OCD a couple of years ago and recovered...thank you for this conversation.

Best of luck I know some insurance companies are just the worst when it comes to therapy.
