I will speculate that we're not yet removed from our primitive past. The tribe was all and you lived and died with you tribe. The US is successful because of our diversity. Yet that tribal call in some to attack "the other..."
Why is it so easy to get angry? Why do some feel the need to justify their beliefs at the expense of others? Does inflicting pain on others further your cause? Just some thoughts

One of the toughest lessons to learn is that you don’t have to participate in every fight you are invited to. Twitter is a great example. So many infuriating things posted, heartbreaking things,but we can choose the battles. As you progress in your career I think you’ll do well.
