Nothing and I mean nothing tastes better when you are really really thirsty than ice cold water.

I'm talking like so thirsty your tongue sticks to the inside of your mouth thirsty. Soda just doesn't hit the spot for me at that point.

. Im addicted to it! No alcohol, dont smoke, no drugs but the soda. -
I was like that for a long time I needed soda with everything I ate and would drink it just because. Then I stopped because of a medical issue and rarely do I drink it and when I do it just tastes nasty to me now.
