As I am laying in bed icing my back in agonizing pain from my service related disabilities from my 7+ years in the Marine Corps with 2 deployments to Iraq I can't help but think is this why I risked my life and sacrificed my health so a 49 year old Senator can talk like this?

Don't let these right wing self-serving lying Evangelical hypocrites get you down , Eric . You didn't fight for these types , you fought for the 100s of millions of decent Americans who are, I am sure , deeply grateful for your service and personal sacrifice .
It doesn't get me down more so embarrassed for my country. People are people and say and do dumb stuff it happens but when you represent others there should be a much higher standard, sadly many of our representatives miss the mark over and over and over again.

Yes they do and they have in politics for a long long time . They put party and personal goals over obvious direct needs of people . I find this on the right far more so than on the left . This current administration is the worst I've ever seen . It feels like they are usurping .
