So as a family of 5 we will get $3,900 which to me is a lot of money. On the other hand we would have recieved $30,000 over a 3 month period. For The People???

COVID-19 CARES Act Relief Bill is about 2 trillion dollars. $1,986,015,906,000 this is the amount the government would have spent if they gave ALL 331,002,651 people in the US $2,000 for 3 months. A savings of about 14 billion. Instead we get 1200 and 500 for children one time.

AARP claims folks getting ss checks auto deposited will receive their "stimulus" checks in early May. This was posted by someone 2 days ago.

And not everyone even gets that - college students don’t qualify for aid, parents of adult dependents 17/18, even if in HS or college, and parents of adult dependent children (special needs) don’t get the $500.
