Probably the main thing that bugs me about FF7R is how the game assumes you have played the original or are familiar with it. Not knowing is the point. In the original sephiroth is not even a thought until you go to cloud's home town. The first time he is anything is the shinra building and it isn't much. If anything the remake gives more info than the original on sephiroth right off the bat.
