I don’t have symptoms, but my mom is stuck in a nursing home and if she were to get sick, she can’t get tested. #TrumpIsTheWORSTPresidentEVER #TrumptheWorstPresidentEVER #TrumpVirusCoverup

I posted a long thread about this elsewhere. Bottom line: you need SYMPTOMS + POTENTIAL EXPOSURE to get a test. The symptoms are too vague and general to make the tests worthwhile by themselves until the virus is endemic (we're getting close to that point).

I've been sick since the 8th. Got tested the 23rd. Waiting for results. I live in WA and work with the public (have been self quarantined since developing symptoms).

Oh, I am so sorry that you are so vulnerable and ignored.

To hell with testing. It’s important on a macro-scale, but I think more useful to look at the curve, infection coefficients, virus viability on various surfaces (2 days steel, 1 on wood). Assume everyone will be exposed. As Ripley once said...”It’s the only way to be sure.”

I talked with a couple ppl in Mobile, AL who are worried about getting symptoms because there are no tests to be had near them.

A hospital in LA is getting so many folks that they have switched to just assuming that the ppl are positive. There will be SO many more cases than actually get documented.
