I only care about the people and doing what's best for them. My self image or what people may or may not write about me means nothing. That being said I rarely cuss irl, especially in a professional setting.

Maybe it's just my psych training but words are just sounds that are just vibrations from stringy things in throats. It's the emotions and meaning behind those vibrations that make them what they are not the generally accepted definitions.
