That's what's making me slightly insane right now - it's impossible to know since we lack sufficient data.
Once it's too late in some places we will know once ventilators run out. Thankfully most governors are shutting states down to slow it down.

Maryland is doing okay, but many smaller counties and towns throughout southern Maryland aren't engaging in sensible precautions with much consistency. My trip to the grocery store/pharmacy today for hub's meds was chaos and frankly, risky.
