At 22 I had my first child. I was a sergeant (E-5) in the Marine Corps and had already did 2 deployments to Iraq. I qualified for WIC, so that means the 4 ranks below me also qualified, which make up more than 1/2 the military. We love vets and the military but pay them crap.

Thought it was for all vets
No just service related conditions and like for 5 years if you served in Iraq or Afghanistan. But that was a while back not sure if they do that still or not.

Anyway I think vets should get free college tuition at any college of their choice and free health care through the va for life plus help to purchase a home. But who am I?
