Polls are a deceptive tool in general. Most polls survey 200 to 2000 people and then use that limited data to be representative of the entire 331 million people in this country. Not to mention it's landline or internet surveys.

A. most polls today have majority cell phone surveys instead of landline. B. Take a statistics course. A 2000-person sample is very representative, which is why such polls almost always are with 2%-3% of the final result. And they were in 2016 too.

Many polls use cell phones now if that is the number people used to register to vote . This information is literally written at the bottom of the polls alongside the sample data information. Your either lying or have never seen a poll.
