I have a better idea: encourage parents do that and keep their kids at home if they have a fever or show certain symptoms.
Most schools do that and do not allow children with fevers to go to school until clear for 24 hrs. But the amount of thermometers for that would be greater than if at a central location. Not to mention training and other issues. Idk what others do but I check my kids like that.
And the possibility of transition through not proper handling of thermometers.
LOL. Are you referring to the use of the old fashioned thermometers? They're pretty much obsolete now.
