Imagine if protocols were in place to have all teachers check temps of kids at school and certain symptoms daily
Work places did it too
All dr offices did it for free
Then flagged people saw specialized personal for further eval all covered by the Fed

Not gonna work. My daughter is a teacher, she has 26 kinders, no time to take temps! She has 10 with special needs, she doesn’t get a bathroom break for herself but once/day, and taking temps would not be realistic

With modern thermometers it takes seconds. An entire class can be checked prior to going into class in under 5 minutes. And benefit of this would far outweigh the 5 minutes it takes to do it. Some thermometers do not even need skin contact.

I spent my entire childhood in low income school areas and schools. A $15 thermometer paid by the fed and 5 min a day to check temps is not impossible.
