Why isn't Roger Stone in jail?
He filed a motion for a new hearing which delayed the sentence.

Is it up to judge to let him free? Is it standard practice? All of us poor people get stuck in jail, even before we get convicted.

I'm not sure it's just what I read. And he also filed to get rid of the judge too. Most people can't even afford a lawyer let alone delay sentencing and try to get a new judge after sentencing, a sentence that was reduced by the DOJ.
