I'm biased in this so I need your help. If someone said, "If elected I will be too busy writing legislation to hold townhalls". How do you interpret that?

You are being humble saying people will be the boss. I wish all elected officials understand this part of equation that they are “serving” people. Congressmen and senators are NOT bosses, people are. Position and power misguides and corrupts their intentions after getting elected

Our government only exists because the people allow it so, not the other way around. Sadly money and power have made some elected officials forget that key fact.
