So found out a lot of you are some form of vegetarian. I would like to let you know #CA produces 2/3 fruits and 1/3 veggies for the entire nation. We had droughts for 8 of the last 10 years and they r expected to increase. So #CaWaterCrisis is a national crisis. #ClimateEmergency

The lack of water will make our food too expensive and it will rot before getting bought! I think the tech is available and it's time to make it happen!
The lack of water will not allow us to grow in California and the effects will be felt around the world. Not to mention the economic damage and thousands and thousands of lost jobs. It would be a nightmare unlike any in modern history.

So what I hear is it's too expensive to make salt water usable, which could also give more jobs, but California's economy will be devastated without water?

The energy requirements make it expensive. But if we invest in renewable clean energy we create more jobs and provide power for the plants only to get unlimited clean water. The plants will also create jobs, I can't see any better investment. Not to mention advancing the tech
