Have you ever heard "I'm not racist I have black friends"? The mere fact that you distinguish your friends by the color of their skin makes you a racist. Maybe being on the receiving end of racism has made me biasd. Is this an accurate assessment?

I see your point and I’ve never stood in your shoes or any minorities shoes so I don’t have your perspective but I don’t think most white people say it or think it randomly. It’s in response to being called a racist normally. It’s defensive I think.

That's a strong possibility but a simple no would do. Or I am not I treat everyone equal or I treat people how they treat me. But like I said that's just me.
