I would like to honestly know why those of you that do not eat meat don't? Is it a cultural thing, personal thing or something else. I would truly like to know. If you are going to spread hate one way or another please keep scrolling.

Just because I feel sorry for them. I anthropomorphize. I've only killed insects in defense of myself or others. Our house was once overrun with ants and I killed them while shouting "sorry! sorry! so sorry!" and weeping. It's not really morality, more like sentimentality.

Now I have this weird image of someone stopping on ants yelling and crying at the same time. Which oddly makes me feel better because I'm not the only one. I usually say sorry right before the stomp. Except for spiders, spiders are evil incarnate.

Yes I do exactly the same! I don't kill spiders either I try to put them outside when my kids start screaming . I have a bizarre phobia of crane flies though. It's so bad I run screaming if they fly at me. I do let people kill them, tho my hub is good at catch and release.

I think it's the big legs on crane flies. If you have ever seen the movie Arachnophobia that was essentially my childhood. My grandma had an unfinished garage on farm land and the ceiling was nothing but webs and spiders with some black widows. So me and spiders r not friends.

Oh God Yes that would do it. Same with Crane Flies on the windows of the schools and inside all the houses during the month of September in England. Hundreds and thousands of them. The boys used to pull their legs off...

I will ensure never to go to England during September, never! It's one thing to kill something it's another to essential torture it. I knew kids that would palm strike bees then pull out the stingers then put them in dirt cells they dug..... very odd I know.
