I’ve been a vegetarian for 30 years, originally only for ethical reasons. Now that I’m middle aged, I’m happy to abstain for health reasons, too - plus environmental reasons.

I believe it’s unethical to kill animals for food. I don’t want to bring any bring pain if there’s a way to avoid it. Deep down do I wish I’d had 30 years of steak and burgers? YES! But not at the cost of animals’ lives.
