The planet is not dying, it is not alive. But the destabilization of the climate has the potential to lead to rising sea levels, droughts, floods, massive storms, famine, dirty water and air. The planet will not die, humans will. Slowly and painfully. #ClimateCrisis #ActOnClimate

We are not the only ones who will suffer and die. Our conciousness even in the Bible gives us the responsibility for all species we share this planet with.

The other animals will die first along with ecosystems and once the food is gone or the atmosphere can no longer sustain us, then we will die too. I'm sure some species will survive but the vast majority will not and some have already died off because of the influence of humans.

Okay, interesting nitpick argument about "alive" & "living". I think we can agree: Earth IS a living thing that can die. Not "murder" but death nonetheless. IMHO What matters is agreeing to save planet upon which we live & save atmosphere which allows us life. SomeFun

Semantics.....I love it. But yes we need to act to ensure our planet can sustain us and the many different lifeforms who call this place home.
