I have talked to some highly intelligent and kind people here with some amazing ideas. So my question to anyone reading this why don't you run for office? Local, state, or federal doesn't matter.

I've considered it, but I'm a 24/7 caregiver to a bedbound dementia patient. That pretty much restricts my movements, and eats up my time at unpredictable times. But I really would like to run for school board someday.
