A lot of people mentioned affordable housing is a big issue. Would capping the amount of house price increases annually be acceptable or too much government over reach? Like a certain percentage that sellers could not go past.

I think it's over reach but I don't know what to do. My taxes have almost tripled in 7.5 years.I live in the fastest growing county in Ohio. Rich people trying to escape Columbus are buying houses here for twice/worth and the city is loving it but most of the residents don't.

Wow that is crazy. Something has to be done. Wages staying the same and sky rocketing housing prices something has to give.

How's about raising wages, strengthening unions, improve labor laws? This idea for yours is ass backward. But Eric, with that statement you are going to lose your race. Save your breath, stay home

You seem very passionate about this. Asking a question does not mean I want to implement something. It is simply a question to see what people think.

Eric, the mistaken Prop 13 was sold to us as a way to help the elderly keep their homes. The women in my family struggle to keep our homes to pay for 'the old ladies' home. Prop 13 covers income producing property & is a true burden on Calif.

Limit rental increases to the amount that property taxes raise under Prop 13. No more 10% per year for income producing property being depreciating and avoiding other taxes and cheating the counties of CALI
