If you could fix one issue in your community what would it be? I would make sure everyone in my community had clean drinking water.

All Homeless, but especially homeless veterans. Our generation of vets have been part of one of the longest wars and so many loose hope then end up on the streets.
The broken VA system doesn't help the situation and many vets end up paying the price again.

It starts before that when we deploy our troops multiple times in one enlistment then expect them to figure it out in the civilian world without any real transition assistance.

I thought the va has been improving itself?

I've been dealing with it for 8 years and improving is not a word I would use for the va from my experience anyway.

Eric, my husband is a disabled veteran, and mostly we get stellar service from the VA. He uses the Muskogee clinic. Not perfect but pretty awesome. We would be broke over med bills if it weren't for the VA. The VA changed our lives for the better.

I know there are problems & room for improvement, & I worry what Trump & his buddies are doing to the VA. My husband actually started at the Palo Alto VA. Rocky start, but then things went well once he got in the system. Vets helping vets get in is the key.
