So let's say you wake up in the morning your phone doesn't work, no internet, no tv, no radio, and no other form of communication works. What do you do?

I lived alone like this 4 a week in rural Oklahoma in an icestorm. No electricity, no communication, roads closed. Got busy keeping house warm w fireplace, dug a hole in the ice to bury frozen food, cooked ineptly over fireplace, etc. Almost dark all day, so almost no reading
