So let's say you wake up in the morning your phone doesn't work, no internet, no tv, no radio, and no other form of communication works. What do you do?

10 minutes drive from the capital - Wellington. But in the event of a major earthquake there would be no point going there. The local communities have emergency water stations all over the place, and disaster community meeting points set up by our civil defence programme.
That's awesome. Either I am really uninformed or my city has nothing like that in the least.

Well we do get a few earthquakes here.... Don't get me wrong, not everyone is 100% prepared of course, but we all do understand that we need to be able to make it through on our own for at least a few days, or a week.
