Yes because of fires. We were evacuated for almost 2 weeks and the place we evacuated to also had no power but was not evacuated but power was off for safety (PG&E) no power means no well water either so we had to use bottled water to clean and cook.
radios. We also have had to invest in generators, inverters and solar trickle panels and keep maps and Thomas Guides.Oh wow that must have been difficult. Hopefully pg&e can get their stuff together so they do not just cut power off during high winds and dry conditions.
