So let's say you wake up in the morning your phone doesn't work, no internet, no tv, no radio, and no other form of communication works. What do you do?

PG&E is trying to prevent terrible wildfires that keep happening during high winds in hot, dry conditions. They’ll be doing this for the foreseeable future but will hopefully learn to manage it better. Cell phone service providers will need to install back up generators too.
I keep hearing California wants to take them over for their negligence and substandard maintenance of their power lines not to mention their bankruptcy.

There’s been talk of that but I haven’t kept up on it.

From what I have read it is a major possibility and there was a bill written up to take it over.
