So let's say you wake up in the morning your phone doesn't work, no internet, no tv, no radio, and no other form of communication works. What do you do?

Go to grandpa’s and pull out his HAM radio and hopefully create a network the old fashioned way. Have an extended family meeting to coordinate a plan. I’d be in charge of the garden.
I'm glad you have that figured out. I'm sure most people don't know what a HAM radio is nowadays.

Well radio as in no one is broadcasting from radio stations not a frequency jammer situation.
