I dislike it when people tell me I should be supporting Buttigieg because I’m gay. I think it is great that a gay candidate is running for president! But my activism extends beyond my sexuality and when there is this much inequality in our economy—we need bold progressive change.
That is like saying if someone is straight they should only vote for straight people. This seems like a veiled attack on you because of your sexual orientation.

Just maybe this is the theory behind trump voters. Only vote for those the same as you. Intelligence, state of mind etc etc.
