Food for thought "Slightly under 1.5 million people were in prison at the end of 2017" We have approximately 500k homeless people in the country. Crimal justice reform to lower incarceration then divert the saved funds to help end homelessness. Just a thought.

Agree. How about we realize that a large number of incarcerated people AND homeless people are addicted to one substance or another, we decriminalize drug addiction and homelessness and we actually treat the addiction. Same applies to those with mental health issues.
