This last decade we had more drought years than not and a 3 year period was the worst in over 1k years. I haven't even thought of water bottles that would be interesting to look into. Cali produces 2/3 fruits and 1/3 of all the country's veggies. We need to act b4 it's too late.

I haven’t personally witnessed reports involving produce production being implicated, but I wouldn’t doubt it. The reason I believe about water exportation being a leading culprit is that it is equally as recent as the consequences of drought.

That is... most unfortunate. This is the first I’ve seen of this news.

I've lived here my whole life, excluding military time, and have lived in an ag area and never knew this until I started my run and started looking at issues. Fallow land and droughts are not as attractive news when compared to impeachment or possible war.

Of that I can not argue. Too much gets lost in national news. Thank you for taking the time to enlighten me. It’s appreciated.
